In honor of Black History Month, the Black at Squarespace (BASS) ERG has curated a collection of organizations to celebrate Black education in all its forms: past, present, and future. From the enduring legacy of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) to the ways knowledge is shared through mentorship, community leadership, self-directed learning, and cultural traditions, Black education has always been expansive, adaptive, and transformative. Together, these organizations reflect how Black communities have continuously stitched learning, culture, and possibility into lasting impact and how that legacy continues to shape the success and innovation of today and tomorrow.

Nine percent of the children in the Netherlands grow up in poverty. A result is that there is no room for fun outings like a playground, zoo or a movie. This also means that these children don't keep up with their friends at school which risks placing them in social isolation and reduces self esteem. The vision of stichting Samen Lachen is that every child in the Netherlands is entitled to the right to play. Our mission is to organize fun outings for children in poverty to give them a day of fun, and give them a story to tell to their friends. Activities are for the children and their parents free of charge. By donating to Samen Lachen you enable the children to join our activities.

My name is Roxanna, and I am a senior at Harriton High School. I’m reaching out to request your support of Dr. Harriton and to invite you to partner with me as a sponsor for our 19th annual show, which will take place on February 20th, 2026, at 6 PM. Dr. Harriton is Harriton High School’s largest event, attracting over 1,000 attendees annually. Featuring student performances, talents, and exciting acts, the event raises funds for local charities. This year’s show we will honor the legacy of Massi Agosti, a Harriton student and founder of the Jerseys4Kids Foundation, who passed away after his own battle with cancer. Proceeds from the show will support: ● The Lower Merion Township Scholarship Fund: Offering scholarships to make education more accessible for local students. ● Jerseys4Kids Foundation: Continuing Massi’s mission of brightening the lives of children battling cancer by providing signed jerseys and supporting pediatric cancer research. ● Cradles to Crayons: Providing local disadvantaged children essentials, such as clothing, toys and school supplies.

The Campbell's Company Classic is a 3-on-3 charity basketball tournament that will be hosted at the Philadelphia 76ers' practice facility in Camden, NJ. The entry fee to play in the Campbell's Classic is a $40 donation. Donations will support the Camden YMCA. Donations will be matched at 50% as per the company's matching gift policy. Questions? Stand for Compassion: Fundraising for PCRF’s Lifesaving Work

Serious request is a fundraising event by 3FM which are raising funds this year for 'Spieren voor Spieren' to raise money for new research, new treatments and new medicine for kids with a muscle disease. During the Dutch 3FM Serious Request, three radio DJs of the national channel (NPO) 3FM are locked up for six days in a small temporary radio studio. It is placed in a main square in Den Bosch. During the event, they live on a liquid diet.

This fund was created to support the victims of the Hanukkah attack in Sydney and to stand with the Jewish community in the aftermath of this act of violence. Donations will be distributed across trusted community organizations that provide critical crisis support, mental health services, education, cultural preservation, and care for vulnerable individuals and families. Together, these organizations help ensure immediate assistance for those impacted while strengthening the resilience, safety, and continuity of Jewish life in Sydney.

The MakersClub, at the Eindhoven Library, is for children aged 7 till 13 years. Each week we bring an example of something you can make and you can also work on your own creative or technical projects too. We can make it great, together, guided by engaged educators of the library Eindhoven. In the MakersClub we speak both Dutch and English. This program aims to develop 21st century skills. Happy International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD) week! International Day of Persons with Disabilities is an international observance promoted by the United Nations since 1992. IDPD, recognized around the world on December 3rd of each year, promotes the mobilization of awareness and support surrounding the challenges and barriers people with disabilities face on a daily basis. IDPD aims to highlight the importance of visibility across all systems and communities in an effort to promote the rights and well-being of people with disabilities, with the ultimate goal of achieving an accessible and inclusive world for all. Approximately 15 percent of the world’s population lives with some form of disability and evidence indicates that when people with disabilities are empowered to be part of life, society as a whole benefits.
