The Trevor Project
The Trevor Project's mission is to end suicide among gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning (LGBTQ) young people. We are the world’s largest suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization for LGBTQ young people. The organization works to save young lives by providing support through free and confidential suicide prevention and crisis intervention programs on platforms where young people spend their time: our 24/7 phone lifeline, chat, text. We also run TrevorSpace, the world’s largest safe space social networking site for LGBTQ youth, and operate innovative education, research, and advocacy programs.

Prioritizing BIPOC, disabled, and HIV+ communities, we advance community-driven strategies that harness trans knowledge, power, and joy to ensure that we all not only survive but thrive at all ages and phases of life.

American Civil Liberties Union Foundation Of Kansas
The mission of the ACLU of Kansas is to protect and defend the constitutional rights and civil liberties of every individual in Kansas regardless of creed, race, religion, gender identification, or class. Across the spectrum of our issues, the ACLU targets policies and practices that impede the ability of historically disenfranchised communities to empower themselves, gain, and retain an equal footing in society. Communities which have historically suffered infringements of constitutional rights and liberties include people of color, women, immigrants, people who identify as LGBTQ+, prisoners, people with disabilities, and the poor. Ensuring that all people receive truly equal treatment under the law has been a focus of the ACLU’s work since its founding.
