Libraries Without Borders US

Libraries Without Borders US (LWB US), the American branch of the international nonprofit Bibliothèques Sans Frontières (BSF), is the only organization that combines expert library support services with boots-on-the-ground community implementation—ensuring economically disadvantaged and underrepresented communities gain equitable access to literacy, learning, and cultural connection. We pursue our mission through two interconnected pathways: Community Programs: We work with excluded communities to remove barriers to access, create culturally relevant programming, and support literacy, learning, and cultural preservation. Institutional Partnerships: We equip libraries with the expert consulting, training, and implementation support they need to fill capacity gaps and deliver impact.
