Focusing on a child’s education means investing in a better present and a brighter future. This foundation inspires me because of its small-scale approach, ensuring that every donation has a direct, positive impact on a child, their family, and the community. I also appreciate the simplicity of its support options - you can donate, now also via Bright Funds, or purchase something as meaningful as “Do Good Markers” (via the Marky website).
On a personal note, I am deeply connected to this cause. Maaike, the chairwoman of this foundation, has been one of my best friends since high school. For over 25 years, I’ve witnessed her passion and relentless dedication to this mission. She frequently visits the projects, shares inspiring stories and showing the impact of the donations. She pours her heart and soul into the foundation. Her commitment and drive to continually raise the bar make me incredibly proud to support and promote the Marky Foundation.
