United States Fund for UNICEF
Now, as Mexico faces Hurricane Willa, UNICEF will continue tracking the storm's progress and assess the potential impact on children. As with their successful partnerships following Hurricane Harvey (City of Houston) and Hurricane Maria (Puerto Rico), their efforts will adhere to UNICEF's core priorities: health, education, child protection and psychosocial support.
"Staff in Mexico are well positioned to activate a swift response. Direct Relief is a Mexican-registered NGO with ample, medical grade storage space, and working relationships with the National Ministry of Health, COPAC and the Pan American Health Organization."
