End Hunger Fund

About

1 in 9 people, and 1 in 7 children face hunger every day in America. The End Hunger Fund focuses on addressing food insecurity – a lack of consistent access to enough food for an active, healthy life. This fund is comprised of three national charities – FEEDING AMERICA, the nation’s largest domestic hunger-relief organization; NO KID HUNGRY, dedicated to eradicating child hunger through schools breakfast, as well as afterschool and summer meals for kids; and MEALS ON WHEELS AMERICA dedicated to serving the more than 10 million vulnerable seniors across the country. Bringing this issue home, also included is THE GREATER BOSTON FOOD BANK, providing meals to people in the communities that many of us live in. An epidemic in its own right according to some, the economic impact of COVID-19 has made the situation even more dire, millions of Americans are out of work, and hunger, one of our nation’s most urgent problems, has grown even worse. The Greater Boston Food Bank's mission is to end hunger here in Eastern Massachusetts. Our objective is to distribute enough food to provide at least one meal a day to those in need.

No Kid Hungry

In the wake of the coronavirus, millions of children in the United States are still facing hunger. No Kid Hungry has a plan to make sure those children are fed, as the crisis continues and in the recovery to follow. Through a combination of emergency grants, strategic assistance, advocacy and awareness, No Kid Hungry is helping kids, families and communities get the resources they need, but we need your help to do it. Meals on Wheels America

Meals on Wheels America is the leadership organization supporting the more than 5,000 community-based programs across the country that are dedicated to addressing senior isolation and hunger. This network serves virtually every community in America and, along with more than two million staff and volunteers, delivers the nutritious meals, friendly visits and safety checks that enable America’s seniors to live nourished lives with independence and dignity. Our mission is to empower local community programs to improve the health and quality of life of the seniors they serve so that no one is left hungry or isolated.
